Growing up in Grand Marais, a small south Louisiana town about twenty minutes from the Gulf of Mexico known for its fresh seafood, sugar cane farming, Mardi Gras, and great cooking!
The Gulf gives us the best shrimp, crabs and game fish. The marshy lands gives us the best in freshwater seafood: crawfish, catfish, frog legs and turtle meat. Thanks to the rich farmland we are able to grow our own vegetables, herbs and spices. Cooking is the way life for our families!
